And Now We Relax... Sort Of

With the hard part of moving over (i.e. packing, moving day, getting here, unpacking, exploring... you get the picture-- but it is why I haven't been posting) and we are almost moved in, I get to sit back and relax. Well... Almost.

I am starting a new school in just a few days, which is WAY to early, if you ask me. August 25 is the first day at my new school and orientation is just two days away. Which, I am freaking out about.

BUT, I miss my old blog so I am switching back to that and deleting this one. I will leave it up for a few more days, but so long, Hayley's Comment!

On our Way Down...

Well, on our way down the country (which took only 4 days!), we met up with my best friend, Sammie. Our moms met on a parenting website before Sammie and I were born. We are 12 days apart and look at us now-- best friends since infancy.

I'm on the right and Sammie's on the left.
Little Adventure Note: So, I spent the night at Sammie's house and so (around 10 o'clock at night-- after dinner with my fam and then the grocery store and Blockbuster), she went out to their car to get the second sleeping bag. Waiting across the street from her was a coyote. Luckily, she new how to deal with them (something I have yet to master) and was fine, but if her mom had sent out her little sister, Savannah... well, let's just say that the coyote would leave full.

But we had a great time, watching "Valentine's Day" and eating GIANT cinnamon rolls for breakfast..... mmmmmmmm..........

Moved In (Finally!)

So after much running around, we are finally mostly settled. We camped out in our new house, after driving for 4 DAYS straight, until the movers came with our stuff on Thursday. And I almost went insane without my precious internet, but I just barely survived one week and a day of zero computer.

Oh well, it's back now, so everything will be okay. I got a new bed frame and was putting that together when the cable guy announced the internet was on! YAY!

Gotta go now, work awaits.

Welcome to Hayley-Land (AKA: my blog)

Here is some quick info that you may need to know about me in the future:
I am fantastic at music (I play trumpet and piano). I loooove art and I have a little sister who I am always on edge with-- but I love her anyway. And may I add that I have a deep passion for ice cream?
My mom is an almost-published author and my dad is an Specialist Solution Consultant. Or something.
I love to be on the move and I also get bored really, really fast. Apparently I have the attention span of a goldfish (3 seconds-- 5 tops).
